The Residential Resiliency Program provides up to $15,000 in assistance through a one-year forgivable loan to help residents repair storm damage or safeguard their property against future risks. This program supports safer, stronger neighborhoods by reducing blight and improving resilience to storms and flooding.

Who Can Apply

The program is available for:

  • Owner-occupied homes, and
  • Long-term leased properties (12+ month leases) where tenants earn 80% AMI or below

 

Eligible Improvements

Funding may be used for projects such as:

  • Emergency roof repairs
  • Hazardous tree removal or trimming
  • Electrical, plumbing, or structural repairs
  • Repair, replacement, or evaluation of at-risk mechanical equipment
  • Other storm damage repairs or preventive improvements (considered on a case-by-case basis)
